This Shabbos has a unique name,“Shabbos Chazon - the Shabbos of vision.” For we read a special Haftorah beginning with the words “Chazon Yeshayahu - the vision of Yeshayahu.”

This Sunday is the third of Tammuz, which marks twenty-six years since the passing of the Lubavitcher Rebbe—Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson. Traditionally, this is a day for reflection, re-commitment, and above all, positive action.
Our Parsha begins with Korach staging a rebellion against Moshe and his brother Aaron. Together with a few ringleaders, he gathers 250 men and accuses Moshe and Aaron of nepotism and power hoarding. They took specific issues with Moshe’s appointment of his brother Aaron as the Kohen Gadol, the high priest.
Furthermore, they argued that since the Jewish nation was all holy, there is no need for any person to be higher than the other. Therefore Moshe Rabbeinu didn’t have to hold the position of leader of the Jewish people.
We find out why Moshe delayed till the following morning?
We learn about the harm of a moment of rage.

We pick up from the end of last week Parsha, where Benyamin was found to have Yosef’s goblet. Yosef then commanded him to remain in Egypt while the brothers were free to go back home.
At this point, our Parsha begins with Yeudah reacting to Yosef’s command that Benyamin must remain in Egypt. He pleaded with Yosef to take him as a slave instead, citing that if he were to return home without Benyamin, his father would die from the agony of losing his second son.
At that time, Yosef cannot restrain himself any longer; overcome with emotion, he asks all but his brothers to leave his presence, and with both sorrow and happiness, he revealed his true identity to his brothers, “I am Yosef!”
We learn why Yosef asked about his father even though he knew how he was?
We learn the power of forgiveness.

Our Parsha begins with Ya’akov Avinu returning home to Cana’an after more than twenty years of absence. Still fearful of Esav, Ya’akov sent messengers to him a message of reconciliation.
However, they returned with a grim report, Esav was preparing to “greet him” with 400 men. In response, Ya’akov sent him an extravagant gift of hundreds of cattle, donkeys, and camels. He split his family into two camps, so if one was attacked, the other would be able to escape, and then he turned to G-d to pray.
We find what made Ya’akov so worried.
We learn about the human dilemma.
