I hope you have gained as much as I have from the past 200 episodes.
Our Parsha introduces Noach, a man who remained faithful to G-d while the rest of society descended into chaos and anarchy.
Noach was told by G-d that a Mabul (flood) would soon destroy all of civilization. Only he and his family would survive in a Teviah, an ark he was to build.
We find out why we begin with the mistakes of humanity.
We learn the Jewish opinion about the optimist and pessimist.

As we enter the new year with a clean slate, we also restart the cycle of reading the Torah from the beginning with Parshas Bereishis.
However, we must understand that it is not just a physical but spiritual cycle. We have the opportunity to gain a more profound understanding of the Torah and its lessons. Each year, a unique level of spirituality is given to the world, which is relevant to that day and age.
The Torah begins with the words "Bereshis bara Elokim es hashamayim ve' es ha'ares-In the beginning, G-d created the heaven and the earth." The Parsha then goes through what was made each day.
We find out why we Torah details the process of creation.
We learn the true intention and purpose of creation.

We are about to begin the holiest time of the year, the day of forgiveness, Yom Kippur.
A day we abstain from physical enjoyment to feel the immense holiness that is obvious during this time. A day that its loftiness alone atones for our sins against G-d.
We will forgo most material pleasures for nearly twenty-six hours for a spiritual awakening.
We spend most of our time in Shul praying to attain angel-like status in the hopes of complete forgiveness and vindication.
We find out why everyone tried to catch a glimpse of the Kohen Gadol.
We learn why we sing a song of triumph and victory after Neilah?
