Quick note, this week is a bit late, because unfortunately this week, during the afternoon prayer, a thief came into the synagogue, went through my office, and stole my laptop. Which has all of my files of the podcast, and other projects I am currently working on, some of the data was backed up and now restored, but it pushed the time of recording of this episode, I appreciate your understanding.
We have the first seven of the ten plagues that God unleashed on the Pharaoh and the people of Egypt. Blood, frogs, lice, swarms of dangerous animals, the death of cattle, boils, and hail.
Before each plague, Moshe warned Pharaoh about the pending plague, even though he knew they would not be released until the tenth and final plague, the death of all firstborn.
We understand how he went with the same level of passion, vigor, and enthusiasm each time.
We learn the mindset needed to accomplish long-term goals.

Moshe, a man who superseded the physical to bring spirituality into the world, the most influential person in Jewish history, was saved by the Batya, the princess of Egypt while floating in the Nile River.
But it was only when she had complete trust in God, that she was able to achieve the unimaginable, to bridge the gap that seemed impossible.
As a reward, she is given the name Batya, the daughter of God, and the honor of naming the foremost leader of the Jewish nation.

Yaakov lives the final 17 years of his life in Egypt. Before his passing, he asks Yosef to take an oath that he will bury him in Israel.
He blesses Yosef's two sons, elevating them to the status of his sons, as tribes within the Jewish nation.
Yakkov desires to reveal the date of the ultimate redemption to his children, but God prevented him from doing so.

Yosef's imprisonment finally ends when Pharaoh has dreams that only Yosef can interpret. He advises Pharoah to store grain to anticipate the famine. Pharaoh then appoints Yosef to oversee the project, making him one of the most powerful people in the world.
During the famine, his brothers make the journey to Egypt and are brought before Yosef, which they don't recognize.
