Our Parsha addresses the fundamental issues of the leadership of the Jewish people. We begin with the commandant to appoint judges and law enforcement in each city and laws on how not to pervert justice. As the Pasuk says, (16:20) “Tzedek Tzedek tirdof-You shall surely pursue justice.”
